Humble ISD contract award provides eligible Central Texas Purchasing Alliance school districts with a streamlined path to procure SaferWatch school safety technology
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL / ACCESS Newswire / August 25, 2026 / SaferWatch, a leading provider of integrated school safety and emergency response technology, announced today that it has been awarded Humble Independent School District RFP 2023-103-11 for School Safety Products and Services.
The award, approved by the Humble ISD Board of Trustees, adds SaferWatch to the District's Approved Vendor List for the award term of July 15, 2026 through July 20, 2027.
Beyond Humble ISD, the award creates a broader procurement opportunity for school districts participating in the Central Texas Purchasing Alliance (CTPA). Eligible CTPA member districts can utilize and adopt awarded contracts from participating districts, providing a more efficient path to purchase approved products and services without having to conduct an entirely separate competitive solicitation.
For SaferWatch, the award provides Texas school districts with another procurement vehicle to access a comprehensive safety platform designed to connect schools, staff and public safety during critical incidents.

Through Humble ISD's participation in CTPA, eligible member districts may adopt the awarded contract in accordance with their own procurement policies and applicable requirements.
This can significantly streamline the purchasing process for districts evaluating new school safety technology while maintaining the competitive procurement foundation established through the original RFP.
For school leaders, that means a district interested in SaferWatch may have an existing path to procurement rather than beginning a new RFP process from the ground up.
